"While ducking his head and throwing wildly with little in the way of contact"

You must be talking about Tootoo right, because Tootoo definitely was ducking and throwing little in the way of contact, where as Brown threw some hard and fast shots giving Tootoo a bloody nose! You can't realy make someone bleed with 'little in the way of contact'!! *facepalm*

I'm not sure if Brown has any real value to Oilers based on his two games with Wings, both involving pointless fights that simply appeared to wakeup otherwise somnolent Wings in both instances?

Last night, he was running smaller players to no apparent purpose or effect, other than trying to secure a spot on the roster; has anybody actually succeeded in bullying the Wings? Then, He engaged Tootoo while ducking his head and throwing wildly with little in the way of contact...net result, Brown gets the Wings thinking hockey, thinking keep-away, thinking win! Then, He took a careless high-sticking penalty leading to the Wings precise and carefully mapped slapper to toe to sweeping missed clearance own-goal?

It looks to me like Brown could benefit from coaching help and direction, seemingly in short supply in Edmonton these days...
