Wouldn’t have guessed who’s #2 without looking it up – Stefan Persson. I was thinking one of the Jonssons (Tomas or Kenny) but they’re 3&4.
Looking at the all-time roster, he may be top 5 Off D-Men who can actually play d. Maybe behind only Potvin and Kenny in my opinion – much better as a d-man than the scouting reports when he was signed.

Two players I’d like to see Isles acquire are Mike Ribeiro and Ben Bishop. Also possibly Brenden Morrow. Whether Garth would or could do that is another question. Isles may also get Visnovsky to extend. We’ll see.
