Bruins fan here…….the hit wasn’t anything out of the ordinary….yes, he stuck his leg out, but not with any violent intent. It was just one of those “hit it just right” things. Kelly is a class act…..and the NHL was right not to suspend Neil for that hit

If you are referring to the Matt Cooke -Erik Karlsson incident, that is a completely different situation. Cooke has built his entire career on cheap shotting and ways to get away with it. Chris Neil is not a dirty player. He’s a fighter and plays an enforcer role but he doesn’t cheap shot. He doesn’t need to. So your comment jaybaileys does not hold up.

Good on Kelly…every time a player gets hurt doesn’t mean there needs to be a league review and punishment. This stuff happens.
