Save for TB's young blue-chippers (Stamkos and Hedman), easily their most impressive players this season have been the ones most recently coached by Jon Cooper. To have guys like Conacher, Killorn and Gudas (A UFA and two 3rd-rounders) step in fresh out of the A and show up the higher-paid, pedigreed vets on the team, I think that's pretty telling.

I'm on the "hire Cooper" bandwagon, and I think a lot of other Lightning fans are starting to join too.

Im happy with Boucher at the helm, what im not happy with is who they put on the ice. More than one game is to be blamed on MA Bergeron. He's trash, we dont need someone who turns the puck over in his own zone time and time again. We've seen an improvement in that department since Gudas joined the club! Also guy has to figure out a way to get our players first on the puck, far too many time we dump the puck and by time someone gets there, 1-2 pass and the other team is already out of their own zone. Which also leads to less play in the opposite zone, less puck possesion, and less shots on goal! Like I say I like boucher at the helm but i wouldnt mind a change, Jon Cooper might be the real deal, but i'd somehow like to get both on the bench!! I can only wish!
