Had a lot of potential back in the day when he was a prospect with the Islanders, but he never met that potential at any of his NHL stops. Couldn’t get it done on the Island, nor in Boston, not Anaheim or Phoenix, and now not in Montreal either.

Seeing Cory Schneider play well for Vancouver makes me wish the Isles had taken him instead of Nokelianen in 2004. Alas, hindsight is 20-20.
