I couldn’t even believe my eyes when I was watching that leaf vs Jets game, I think they would have been better of staying home and watching the Marlies play the game for them.

Phaneuf well for a captain lol he wasn’t to much of a help, that was great with a 5 on 2 pp but I really don’t think your going to be able to score a goal when you shoot the puck right at a person not 1 but 3 times during the game..

I couldn’t believe my eyes..

I guess we will see what they will do on home ice on Saturday, my guess they will get booed of the ice.

TRADE Phaneuf, he’s useless get a way better player for that kind of money..

Trade Phaneuf while his reputation is still intact. For my money, he’s an immature d man who thinks he’s got something to prove but . . . Has yet to prove it. Last night for example: he insisted on taking 3 shots from the blueline (all easily blocked) and wasted a 2 min 5 on 3. The game prior, on a powerplay he stood behind the net planning his attack for 10 seconds only to shoot the puck to center ice, right onto the oppositions stick. Forget about the giveaways on a regular basis. Trade him (Phaneuf)!

He’s bigger than Ryan Suter, who seems to be doing ok at the NHL level, last I heard. But at the very least, the Leafs have some attractive bait…there are several teams desparate for defense that might pay more than his worth.
