This team is done, time to tear it apart and start over (well it was time 2 years ago but I digress) but there's two big problems with that: 1. All 3 of those players have no trade clauses, if they decide they don't want to go anywhere, there's nothing the Flames can do about it. 2. The GM making these deals likely won't have his job come June, do the Flames trust him enough to get good value for the players they deal?

The Flames really screwed up by not hiring John Davidson to come in and rebuild, he's from Calgary, and was interested in the job, but the guy who most deserves to be fired by this team, Ken King, would be in charge of that and likely realized if he brought in JD it would only be a matter of time before he was losing his own job to him. How many fails GM's and coaches does King get though before the organization realizes he's doing a poor job?! The Flames need to fire all hockey operations, start with King, then Holditch, then Feaster, then the scouts and Hartley, bring in a new president (a hockey guy) and let him create the organization he wants.

Vultures waiting for the feast. How dismal it must be for Feaster to know what's coming and be completely unable to stop it. All his stars will likely be gone by season's end, and then he will. And he deserves it.

You know, I like Feaster, but there comes a time. It's going to be a long road back to contender-ville (just ask the Oilers), but the Flames might as well start now. Iginla, Cami, Kipper, and Boumeister are among the few assets they have, and Bow is the only guy who might see it into the next era. I admire putting up a strong face, but this team is bad and not getting any better soon. Time to tear it down and start over.
