Yes… Abby is a fourth liner at best. Frankly, I’d rather see Tatar stay and Abby get sent down.

I read somewhere Tartar was the only choice to send down, because he can skip waivers. I think he earn a spot next year on the roster.

Babcock should of put Tatar on Datsyuk’s line and moved Abby down to the 3rd line, Abby is a grinder and he does not belong on the top 2 lines let alone the PP plus his only goal is an empty netter. Hopefully Nyquist will not be buried on the 3rd line and he will get an opportunity next to Datsyuk.

He better be on Datsyuk’s line. Datsyuk desperately needs a shooter on his wing. I get that Babcock was using the 2nd line as a shutdown line to go against the other teams top line, but when you’re only scoring a couple goals at best a game it’s time to introduce some offense to that line.

Apparently he’s not comfortable enough with Tatar’s defense to give him a shot on Datsyuk’s line despite how awful they have been offensively.

There are a lot of great prospects coming over from juniors and Europe next year as well (Jarnkrok, Pulkinnen, Oullett, Sproul, etc). The Wings future is bright.

this season has been brutal, injuries being the major factor to that, we still don’t have Helm and who knows if Bert’ll play this season, but I must say, the kids have stepped up and played some fun hockey.
Tatar, Andersson, Lashoff, Smith, Nyquist, and the backup goalie who’s name skills my mind
Have all played well on this level. and give me confidence as a fan that we’ll be okay over the next 3+ seasons
