exactly the opposite happened though. the cleaner of the two produced an injury and I doubt will be punished, and the dirty one just had Gerbe down for a minute, no injury. I do think the Schenn one was worthy of the 2 minute they called, maybe a 5, but it’s a borderline suspension hit at best, without the injury.

on a Sabres note, aside from the Weber instigator, they showed surprisingly good discipline. Ott was in the Flyers’ ears all night, but didn’t do anything stupid (except that Rinaldo interference) and let the Sabres get back in that game.

first flyers game this week I’ve enjoyed watching… clearly.
