it was good to see during brads interview, that he looked to be coming along pretty well.after looking at the hit again am surprised Brad Richards didn’t break his neck. if these players like Kaleta, can’t follow the new rules set in place to stop vicious hits like that, to Brad Richards then they should be expelled out of the league. hockey is a great game with the big clean hits and, yes the fights, but there’s room for hits that you as a player know could end another players career. maybe we need to go back to old school hockey, were as if you hurt a team member you paid for it on the ice.

Here is to hoping he mentally regroups a little as well. I’m sure as a professional athlete dealing with a massive drop off he could use a little unwinding.

The NHL needs to show the world how Richards went into the boards, heads up hockey kept him from ending up like that player in the Swedish league.
That was horrifying to watch.
