Nice to see Montador back; the likes of Datsyuk are chortling merrily at the news! Yet, I find myself in concurrence with comeonnowguys all the same? Not with the assessment on Hawks’ second line which is the usual drivel, but with the assessment re: birthday cake; unusual integrity for otherwise fantasy driven Hawks’ supporters. Good on you son…

Can never have too much on the blue line fellow Hawks fans.

Much rather have further depth on D than Bollig. I rather see Carcillo take a seat, but I also recognize I am in the lower percentile in that opinion

Their second line are good enough to start for a few teams themselves, and isn’t the usual sixth defenseman (Rosival) +10? Don’t get it, but then again, I’m one dimmer bulbs on the birthday cake.

Glad to see Montador is returning, yet I hate to see Bollig sent down. I like the toughness he added to the lineup, even if he only played 5 mins a game.

Didnt know they needed a boost on the blue line. Monty did play a little forward for em last year though

I don’t know about NHL dressing rooms, but on my beer league teams if someone has been out and we’ve been winning, and then we lose upon their return, they get ribbed to no end about how the team’s success must be tied to their absence from the ice…I wonder how much good natured teasing he’d receive if his return heralded the end of their spectacular point streak? I don’t know, this is probably a stupid thought…obviously they’re a long way from beer league.
