You have to have a hot goalie in the playoffs. We’ll be going nowhere unless they get this under control.

The time to trade Elliott was in the offseason. Now, I’m sure there’s a handful of teams that would take him, but his value is depleted. They could have gotten a nice little package had they sold high on him.

The way this team has played this is inexplicable, how does a team play the way they played last year and come out totally opposite this year. I don’t get it, I haven’t been able to put my finger on it.

Call me crazy, but given Allen’s play while he was up from the minors and his high expectations for the future I’m about ready to give up on Elliot and go with Allen and Halak spliting the work load. Elliot had a break out year last year but he’s always been a wild card during his career. I’m about ready to trade him to one of those many teams who have gotten into goaltender injury issues.

It is strange to see after last year’s performance of Halak and Elliot that this year they no longer have the problem of two number one goalies but are now starting to look like past years of the Flyer’s goalie carousel.
