He wasn’t so bad. He always found the open ice, but never really had the touch to bury the puck. With a little brush ups, he could really get moving.

Watching Butler here in NJ he strikes me as a guy who’s vision eclipses his skill as a player. That is he gets creative thoughts but lacks the talent to take advantage of what he’s seeing. Hope he straightens things out in Nashville. Just didn’t work out here in NJ.

Going to Nashville to find his scoring touch. That’s never a good sign. I saw him at UNH a lot, I’m surprised he hasn’t translated a bit better. At least he should be top 6 in Smashville.
