I love how the penguins have absolutely nothing to do with this story nor the suspension history of anyone involved and yet you have such cock envy that you have to bring them.
How about this: the next time crosby or malkin or cooke leave their feet for a hit you can lobby the NHL to have them suspended. If the Flyers weren’t full of such knuckledraggers and dirty players they wouldn’t get such attention huh? Well how about you try to fill your team with quality human beings and this type of stuff won’t happen. OR conversely you can just try hard not to lay flying shoulder block wrestling moves when playing hockey and you’ll stay out of the disciplinary office. Dick.

Shanny and his disciplinary crew still have zero credibility by allowing Alfreddson’s cross-check to Rinaldo’s face to go unpunished. He used his stick as a weapon, something that’s a borderline criminal offense(hey, its been done before), and it was blatantly intentional. In my book, what he did doesn’t even compare to Z’s almost legal hit(if he doesn’t leave his skates milliseconds early because Lundin was already dropping down, its simply a 2 min charging minor). Alfie should get 10-15 games MINIMUM! Theres no place in hockey for using your stick as a weapon to smash a guy in the face.

I agree with you to a point, you leave your feet 4 game is a min…. you skate with your head down your begging for it…. Look at a prime example in philly, Lindros! The man could not skate with his head up and he paid the price for it… But if you leave the feet you should be fined and suspended. You can clean hit someone and not leave your feet…… Example Giroux on Cindy…. CLEANED HIS CLOCK….
