At any rate, Markstrom just has to stick sooner or later. The Panthers should have dealt Theodore somewhere else when he was healthy. They have the worst goal differential in the league, are loaded with talented prospects, and Markstrom is more than ready to take over in net.

I love the shape that organization is in. Even if it doesn’t reflect right now in the standings, they’re a well-rounded club, especially if guys like Versteeg and Weiss come around and produce like they ought to. The next few years should be exciting in Florida, but they can’t screw it up by trading for Luongo or making any other stupid move.
