IF you look at Harry Z as he was cutting in for the check his knees were bent and he was low…as he was about to make contact he pushed off with his legs to move up into Lundin…Since Zolniercyzk’s weight & momentum over powered Lundin’s, Lundin dropped to the ice immediately leaving Zolniercyzk in the natural upward motion, lifting him off the ice. If he had not gotten low & moved up like he did, it would have been a weight vs. weight collision. All of us who have played hockey or football know u get low & move up when making a hit. I do not believe it was Zolniercyzk’s intent to leave his feet before the impact but he mistimed his upward motion which may have made his skates leave the ice a millisecond too soon.

4 games IMHO is steep. I bet if Lundin didn’t have a concussion it would have been 1 or 2.

I am not sure he left his feet prior to the hit. Certainly after Ludin start going backwards Z’s feet came off the ice.

I hope Alfredson also has a hearing scheduled for his assualt with a deadly weapon. Cross checking someone in the face could kill him; alas I guess the blonde bomber will get a pass cause he is so light on his feet.

Cut to the middle with your head down and you will get steam rolled. I learned this in first year peewee. Harry Z did leave his feet but it wasn’t that bad… I still see him likely getting a couple games. Alfie should be getting a look also for his cross check… Maybe a fine

He leaves his feet, but the contact is with the chest so his suspension won’t be longer than 2-3 games.

Still wondering what will happen with Alfie, technically that is instigation because he attacked some one who made a clean, legal hit and he did it highly illegally. When I first heard Alfie cross checked Rinaldo in the head I was like “this announcer must be drunk, he means Rinaldo cross checked Alfie right?” Then I watched the replay and I was like “my TV must be drunk”
