Friends, there can be little doubt that Halford wrote this article “tongue in cheek” which is often the style at this highly entertaining and avant-garde website … and full marks to Halford and crew for that. But seriously, as if there’s any doubt that Jonathan Quick isn’t our “anointed & glorious” rear-guard leader eh? Comrade Quick is to us, what a heart is to the “mighty” lion who rules the jungle! We could have re-signed him to a 100 more years and it still wouldn’t be enough! In all seriousness though, the thing which we King’s fans know only too well, yet most outsiders are completely oblivious to, is that fact we’re a team based on the concept of “true” brotherhood and “collective” conviction. The French refer to this as “elan”. Both of our goalies are literally like the Berlin Wall and any one of our “lethal” four lines can&will pounce like a deadly tiger! From top to bottom, “ours” is a team of highly-skilled, selfless, ardent and passionate players who are guided by the credo of “one for all and all for one” … be that for better or for worse.
