Yes. Every Canucks fan but you would prefer the Canucks didn’t win. We all just accept their failures and therefore think they should deliberately make bad moves. It’s definitely not that different people have different opinions about how to win. That’s just dumb. Everyone either agrees with you that this was a bad move…or wants the team to lose. That’s not a stupid thing to suggest at all.

Canucks lost to both Kings and Bruins because they were willing to be bag-slapped by giants like Brad Marchand [ pardon me while I dust off my gloves ]! They don’t hit, they don’t forecheck and they are soft along the boards

So forgive me if I think I guy like Volpatti who can do all of the above is a loss for this team. Guys like Schroeder, Raymond, Higgins, Booth are not hard enough for the playoffs.

And I don’t know if you watch the games or understand but yeah the Kings, Bruins, and Hawks (When they won the cup) all had major size throughout their line up.

damn steve you’re right. we didn’t lose those series because of goaltending, injuries, lack of secondary scoring and defensive break downs. we lost it because we didn’t have as many enforcers skating around taking penalties. yea, that sounds exactly like Chicago’s, Boston and LAs gameplan: skate around with as many brutes with little skill as possible.

do you mind actually sending your opinions to mike gillis? I think the franchise has a lot to gain

Look at the last four times the Canucks have lost in the playoffs

Good tough player who likes to hit and will fight pretty much anyone. He’s got a lot of heart but not really big enough or fast enough to make a huge impact…still sad to see him go though. Hope he gets given a good shot with the Caps.
