Leafs and Canadiens are stiff, plodding, unimaginative and certainly representative of the backward direction Canadian hockey has taken for the past 20 years. In a typical Canadian winter, the biggest excitement is watching the maple sap run as spring nears…ditto the hockey, maples, saps, and slow running!
