Wouldn’t that make it two different records? Most Played before getting into the playoffs and Most Played without ever getting into the playoffs? Personally, I find keeping track of such records rather ludicrous.

There needs to be a record “Most games from start of career before appearing in playoffs”. That would be the record. That guy has it until someone else beats him.

Once Jokinen played in a playoff game, he could no longer hold the mark. It went back to Charron, but will be Bouwmeester’s tonight. If Jay-Bo ever goes to the playoffs, the mark goes back to Charron.
