No, I’m saying the opposite, and maybe not very well. If you injure someone, and the hit is deemed suspend-able by the NHL you should miss the same amount of games the injured players miss plus the games you were suspended once they return. IMO that would clean up the cheap shots, and eliminate the shots to the head of opposing players completely.

Watch the video of the hit then watch Clutterbuck try to get off the ice… then you tell me if it looked like he was playing a game of tag or if he just took a cheap shot knee to knee which very well can lead to the end of one’s career or drastically shortening it.

Perhaps if it happens to a very popular player on your team, you’d see it differently!

Stupid. So you’re saying that when Bertuzzi ended Steve Moore’s career he should have just never been suspended? Suspensions should be enforced immediately. However, I do think that they should one of the days of the suspension should be enforced the next time the two teams play each other, unless it was their last matchup of the year, in which case the suspension would work as it does now.

Sure hope he’s back for the March 3rd rematch with Edmonton. I’d love to see Clutterbuck get the first crack at that punk Hall.
