I know its few weeks out but do you put Reader back up there with G and Jake or do you leave Jake Hartsy and G alone?
Read was nice addtion on that top line…
I was and still not a fan of Jake, he skates with the puck alot longer then he needs too and turns it over alot…. but that gets over looked when he plays like this…

Yeah it’s really annoying to go to every Flyers or Pens page and see the same childish bickering. Especially when most of it is totally unoriginal. Of course I’m guilty of it too, but usually only when I see a point made that’s so outrageous that I can’t bring myself to let it be. Mostly I just wanna talk hockey. And that should be the aim of all of us on PHT, not to constantly insult eachother. It’s too bad that so many Flyers fans feel the need to incessantly attack the Pens (and vice-versa) when most pages don’t even center on the rivalry. Sportsfreak13 is an exception. Philadelphia fans, overall, are an intelligent group but you may not know it from some of the comments on this and other sites. We dont have to like eachother, as I despise the Pens, but we also don’t need to be at eachothers throats unprovoked. Maybe eigglesnosuperbowls would feel better if the Birds finally won a SB. I know I would.

As for Voracek… the dude has been lights out. Just piling up points. I think two things really spurred his development: the change of scenery from Columbus to Philly and the presence of Jagr last season. In Columbus it was almost impossible for him to play his game, as you can’t be a great setup man with no one to setup. Coming to Philly he’s been surrounded with way more talent. And the effect Jagr had on this extremely young squad was something you can’t put a price on. He definitely helped Giroux and Voracek reach new levels of production while carrying themselves like pros. And Voracek’s vision, stick-handling, and use of his body are very Jagr-esque. The Voracek-Giroux-Hartnell line should continue to pile up points. And eventhough their record might not indicate it, this team is built for the long haul. I’m glad Homer didn’t have a knee jerk reaction to the slow start and start moving pieces bc their top forwards are all hitting their stride now. If Couturier can get his offense going then the Flyers will have 3 very dangerous lines. Look for this team to continue their turnaround.

I have to agree with Pens’ that have showed so far regarding trolling, it is definitely a Flyers fan proactively instigating. The Pens’ fans that have commented have been gracious. I can’t even slight the guy who called Voracek ugly because as a Flyers fan I was under the impression the Blue Jackets scouted in one of those Capital One commercials with Vikings. I would be the first to go after a Pens’ troll or wannabe Pens’ troll but eigglesnosuperbowls is clearly “troll of the day,” essentially trolling his own team.

Guys like eigglesnosuperbowls just posting garbage in order to to get a reaction from someone on a post to then just constantly hurl insults their way is a serious sad cry for attention. If you ignore the troll though people he might just go away. See once you take away the attention he so desperatley needs hell go elsewhere. The fact that someone needs to denegrate someone else (be it specific team or individual) on these boards to feel better about themselves is disapointing and troubling. Voracek’s current hot streak started before he was put back on Giroux’s line. He was the one who awoke Giroux from a slump, not vice versa.

crosby has 6 games with 3 pts this year. other than the goose egg the other day against FLA crosby’s had a great february 21 pts in feb alone – voracek has 22 pts all season so i wouldnt get too excited with your comparisons.

Voracek seems to make a living off the Pens… not sure why but it seems some guys just have other teams numbers (similar to Geno against Tampa when he’s healthy) or Sid against Buffalo.

well he has giroux to thank for this, makes you wonder if they really needed to pay hartnell so much this off season, seems like they could plug in anybody on the top line with 28 and get production like this. now that Giroux is starting to get his game back that is- finally cracked the top 20 in pts this week after a slow start.
