Flyers sure could use a backup like Clemmensen. Boucher has always been a fan favorite but neither he nor Leighton are really able to pull out a win in their spot starts. Acquiring someone who is capable of giving Bryz a breather every once in awhile should be a top priority for Holmgren. Plus you need insurance in case (knock on wood) Bryz gets hurt. Idk how much value the Panthers would want in return, but I’d imagine a mid-level prospect with a mid-round pick would be sufficient for a goalie who’s never really been more than a split-starter. Make the call Homer.

As a caps fan, be careful what you wish for as far as young goalies and trades go- its been a carousel in WAS for the last decade (more or less)

The future is coming in net for the Florida teams with Anders Lindback and Jackub Markstrom trade Theodore sure but even though he’s in the last year of his deal don’t give him away, steady backup goaltending could be the difference between Detroit making or missing the playoffs.

Markstrom look solid for the most part against the Penguins the other night. A handful of great saves, but did let in one easy weak goal that he had a clean look at a shot from the point but just missed it.
