Perhaps they were cheering for Ryan Kesler, Keith Ballard or Jordan Schroeder? Maybe they wished David Booth had played or were calling for Cory Schneider to come in to replace Luongo?

Ok. That video above doesn’t go into that detail. I thought Tootoo just fired from the half-wall and got it in. If he had, then it’s a bad play by Luongo. Since it banked off the defender right above the crease, I’ll take that one back.

Tootoo goal was off a defenseman – wouldn’t pin that one on him.

I’d hold him completely responsible for the last 3… after his team fed him to the Winged Wolves all game.

Brunner has been quite a find. Some of the young GR guys (Tatar, Andersson and Lashoff) that are getting a chance to play are doing a good job and with Bert and Sammy out it looks like they will be around for a bit longer. It would be nice to get Helm back seeing as he adds speed to the Wings lineup.

Wings were buzzing around him all night… and then it got into his head on the last 3.

That said, I’d take him in goal for my team any night…

Maybe we should take him… we need a healthy back up… Howard was supposed to have the night off and needs some rests.

The Wings are ramping-up to the effort we THOUGHT they could put out… but had not been.

Probably a chemistry issue and they’re finding their ‘skates’ as a team. I’m sure the growing pains aren’t over… but they’re gaining some nice confidence.

TooToo has been a HUGE motivator – THE motivator in my book. The guys skates ALL OUT… ALL THE TIME. He’s showing guys how to play tougher…grittier…a little meaner on the ice.. and the Wings needed that very very much. Brilliant pick-up – keeps opposing forwards looking up.

Love Cleary in the ‘Holmstrom’ role…more than Mule. Cleary has ‘the edge’ for it and is playing better with that role included.

I even have to give Ericsson and Kronwall a little more credit – but would still like to see some more harder hits from them both.

Abdelkader is still on my crap list…two painful turnovers tonight…and his ‘hits’ don’t make up for those. His hits are also categorically… taps… more of a push than a ‘hit’.

Great Win… had the Canucks off balance all game. Go RED WINGS!

Man, did the Canucks’ D challenge the man in the slot once that whole night? One-timers, one-timers everywhere.

Luongo looked like he reached full panic mode after the Cleary no-goal. He hits a point where he just starts freezing on shots and making wild grabs with his glove, and he was doing either or both in many of the remaining goals scored.
