As for the league evilly creating the penguins you just sound like a jaded flyers fan who is sure the refs and nhl are out to get them.

Both dirty plays from each team. At this point it’s over who cares. The bigger question is if clowe did in fact jump the boards?

Rather than having the bankrupt pens be sold, the NHL had a lockout so the pens would be guaranteed a shot at Crosby after missing AO to get Malkin, then Mario met with Gary, then with Crosby. Later there was a non televised lotto and some how the pens managed to win and get Sid. Then they sold Sid like he was the next number 99 and boom. NHL made some cash as some questionable calls for some years helped lead the pens to a cup.
2. Boston had a good run a few years ago, bringing the bang back in hockey, they looked like the old broad street bullies and with Campbells son on the team several very very questionable plays that should have resulted in major suspensions ended with no action being taken and the B’s won a cup.
3 the hawks just had the best winning steak on recent history. They are the big story of the league right now. If you think anything could happen to hurt the hawks you are sadly mistaken.
