Yeah could have sworn it was just a hip check attempt gone wrong. From the one angel I saw it does not look like he sticks he knee out at all. Really need to watch the other angel cause I must have missed something

As we look at issues in sports and the injuries that can happen it is sad when someone lashes out of control to try to end a career. Clutterbuck hits a lot , but they seem to be clean. I think a fine and suspension is good, it shows that folks can’t get away with reckless abandonment.

This was just a low down, dirty hit. Sometimes guys will stick a knee out as a reflex, but this was a targeted knee on a guy who never had the puck.

I don’t know if Hall is a dirty player since I don’t watch the Oilers very often… but this hit was bad. Hes lucky it was just two games.

I thought this was a low hip hit but when I saw the reverse angle you can see that there is knee to knee contact and the suspension is correct. I stand corrected.

never noticed this the first time I watched the video… but look at the video 30 seconds in… Clutter never plays, maybe doesn’t even touch the puck and Hall’s head is 100% made up on knocking Clutter… LOOK where the puck is, 10 feet from #22 at this point.

I hope clutterbuck isn’t seriously hurt and hall doesn’t become a repeat offender. I’m not an oilers fan but he’s an obvious talent, he was almost suspended for a cheap shot on granlund in the AHL, against Minnesota’s minor league team in Houston, just play the game it’s a privilege not a right.
