As the “winners” which we are, I knew that it was only a matter of time before we Kings started to regain our championship form … and now that appears to be finally happening. Last night’s game was a textbook demonstration of how a “winner” plays on the road. And truth be known, had we just five more minutes there in Chicago on Sunday, then we’d be sitting on a five game winning streak right now as opposed to 4/5. Nonetheless, you can clearly see that “everyone” is playing better with each passing game, though Carter, Scuderi and Kopitar have been excellent from the get go. It’s also nice to see Quick getting back into form. Our back end is holding up remarkably well despite the absence of Martinez, Greene and Mitchell … but with any luck and God willing, they’ll be back in the line by playoff time. In fact, something’s telling me that Mitchell could be playing again shortly?
