I will never care for philly in sport simply put. the only good things to come out of philly were ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) and the philly cheesesteak that’s it. I hope this game is good and 7:30 cant come any sooner! LETS GO PENS!!

Flyers need to come out of the gates with the type of energy they had on Monday, and I have a feeling they will. It would be nice to have Hartnell in for this game as he knows how to push the Pens buttons, but since he’s not that job falls on Simmonds and Schenn. If they can get Malkin and others to take ill-advised retaliation penalties it could bode well for the Flyers. But the Flyers must be disciplined themselves (that means you Rinaldo/Sestito/Simmonds). Can’t wait for the puck drop on this one! Look for a 3-2 final, with the better goalie deciding the outcome. No shootouts please.

I hope they put mcginn back in the lineup tonight. he brings a much needed net presence with hartsy still out and I think we’ll need that more than harry z’s speed. wouldnt mind seeing sestito getting back in there too.

Should be a good one. I’m not a big fan of either team, but I love watching two rival teams throw themselves at each other for 60 minutes. Particularly after the goal-fest last spring, I’ll be very interested to see how this goes tonight. Predicting 4-2 Penguins (including an empty-net goal)- if the Flyers were healthier this might go the other way, but right now it’s hard to bet against the Pens.

Contrary to the rest of their season, the season opener was actually one of the better games for the Flyers. Even though they lost, they played pretty solid. Neither team was spectacular offensively, but the goaltending was good on both sides. Here’s to hoping the Pens PP is on their A-game tonight! Something tells me special teams could end up deciding the game. Been counting down to this game all month!!!

Without a doubt best Rivalry in sports is Flyers Vs Pens. As a Flyer’s fan I don’t like the Pens, BUT I also respect them, there fans and how good there team is. People from both sides will talk trash as always on here, but that just proves there are haters in every city. I always look forward to these games because they always live up to our expectations as fans of both teams. Get your popcorn ready. It is definitely gonna be a great game with tons of checks, great plays and goals.

It’s depressing to think what kind of team we could be without that injury report. Hopefully our luck can turn and guys stop dropping like flies. Maybe then we can see who the REAL Flyers are. Till then just keep it close enough in the standings so we can be in it at the end. We really miss Hartsy right now.

I second this. Dude never contributes anything of substance. On another note can’t wait for this game. Got class til 9, definitely skipping out early. Flyers need this game more and they hafta play like it.
