Sometimes there are freak plays where people get hurt and they don’t need to be suspended for it. Look to Cooke and Karlson, it sucks that he got hurt and it looks bad because it is Cooke but it was just a strange hockey play. If you want to hold a player responsible when another player gets hurt then do we suspend players that shoot the puck and injury others on the shot? I hope that Hossa isn’t actually hurt (I don’t think he will miss a shift), and the Hawks are flying high this season which draws concern. Hawks and Canucks hate each other and either side will try and find something dirty with the other team. What about the Hawks goon punching Wiese in the head four times before he even dropped his gloves to defend himself. Is that an instance of four shots to the head? Just relax Hawks will make the playoffs this year and they will go deep, however they won’t be able to win in the S/O and that might be a concern.
