It’s a strong heated rivalry for sure! I was at the game at the UC and the atmosphere was like a playoff game! These two teams have very skilled players and a very strong dislike for each other…makes for very exciting games. Too bad there’s only one more game between the teams. Guess we’ll have to wait for a playoff showdown!

And yes I hate the Canucks! Game on boys…

Well said. Canucks fan here too. It is great Chicago hates us, makes regular season games feel that much more important. I hate Chicago, but damn is there a better player than Kane right now? It was pretty amazing watching him play like he had the puck on a string. Hope Hossas fine, hockeys better with skilled people playing.

Actually so many people wanted to see 2 good teams going at it with a bit of a hate for eachother flavor. Congrats on the win Chitown you gave the Canucks a lesson in the second period and 10 minutes of the third on how the game is played. I surely hope that Hossa is allright and just stayed out for precautionary reasons. The game of hockey is alot better with Hossa playing. My honest opinion about the hit is the same as Fraser.s. (no suspension) Everybody keeps bringing up the Keith/Sedin event and I don.t know why. The two players have moved forward, the two teams have moved forward and Sedin called Keith a very classy player. It is us that have no class. Cheers and Congrats on the win Chitown. The media, you mean. I doubt the NHL even slightly doubted that exactly this would happen. The NHL has never taken the fans for anything BUT a given.

I lived there during the dark times and couldn’t imagine this sort of turn around. Good for the fans and team, the best decision was to finally put home games on tv.

Chicago is a hockey town that is being re-awakened. I was never exposed to it as a kid because it wasn’t on TV and my family weren’t fans, but fell absolutely in love with it watching the 2010 finals. It’s amazing what having a change in ownership can do. Of course, having a great team also helps!
