Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is having an amazing season. It’s been so good that he’s even making glove saves on his nights off.
Backup netminder Peter Budaj got the nod against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday and turned aside all 19 shots he faced in a 3-0 victory.
As you can see below, Price didn’t have a completely uneventful night either:
As mentioned in the video, he probably saved RDS commentator and retired NHL goaltender Marc Denis in the process.
It’s a fair bet that MSG Network’s John Gianone wishes Price was around during the Rangers-Islanders game a couple weeks ago:
