That did get ugly pretty quick…Ott should have just got out of there – but he didn’t really do anything wrong…just an unspoken rule that if you don’t need to be near our goalie, then get the eff away from the goalie, eh…

Didn’t see anything wrong with the hit…in the article it just said Bylsma didn’t think Sutter had the puck. It was a hell of a hit….probably not something he should have had to answer the bell for, but the game was starting to drag anyway at that point, maybe they just wanted to increase the entertainment value of the game

Class act by McCormick…was obvious that Glass didn’t want to continue either after he did that.

What do you mean by he played the puck? He never touched the puck and according to the rule that is what matters. That being said I do t think it was a horribly dirty play or anything like that. Just a missed penalty and those happen all the time.

Ya, if that’s questionable, I don’t know what is clean. It’s more like he was going to hit him and then Sutter lost the puck right before the hit…clean as they come.

Ott is lucky. He almost got his face pulled off after barking at Fluery when the game was over. Orpik looked like he was going to feed his stick to Ott. Good game, fun Sunday action. Keep your heads up Sabres. GO PENS.

Sutter actually did play the puck and I didn’t really have a problem with that hit. McCormick is a class act and I really respect how he didn’t pummel glass when his jersey got pulled over his head. Good win for the pens. Time to shift our focus to Philadelphia.

Class move by McCormick to not keep swinging when Glass’s jersey was up over his head. Was happy to see that.

While the fighting aspect of hockey seems barbaric to some, this shows that the guys doing it still have a head on their shoulders and their wits about them
