No one cares about the pirates and no they never will make the playoffs ever. I’d rather watch woman’s tennis atleast there’s a chance of it being shorter then a baseball game.

It’s because of Crosbys’ immaturity that Pens fans will always be arguing about him. He may be one of the Elite players in the NHL but because of that immaturity and whining about being hit (while being a dirty player himself) or not having the call go his way he will never be as respected as some of the other Great NHL icons! Rinaldo has more class then Sindey, at least he will drop his gloves before there is a ref in his face to stop the “appearance” of wanting to actually fight. As much as the Flyers get ragged on for being a dirty group (mostly the supporting cast of “goons”) It’s the Face of the franchise in Pittsburgh that has no class and no respect. I would love to have a player with his skill set on my team, just not named Sidney Crosby.

@pitpenguinsrule. Say whatever you way about Philly the fans the city. Pittsburg loves to hate. The main thing that’s separates Philly from Pittsburg is we don’t abandoned teams. No matter of they are good or bad Philly fans show up. They never let there team go in danger of bankruptcy. They support no matter what. Pittsburg is a front runner town. You talked about the devils going to cups and loosing but dope they have already won two cups in the 2000′s and I think they have more cups then your beloved penguins. Say what you want but I do remember pitt getting beat by Detroit the year before they won. Your history is awesome. The one thing Philly has the pitt will never have is a basketball championship. Why because your broke ass city can’t afford one. I can’t wait until Crosby and Malkin are gone and pitt blows once again because they will be moved or sold by the lack of support by you front running pussies.

ah music to my ears the Penguins win and the Cryers lose…..duh winning as Charlie Sheen would say hahahaha. Philly is nothing more than the City of Losers with a long and storied history of losing. Rag the Pens all you want Philly but remember the Pens have been the better since your last cup win. You guys wont experience winning the Stanley Cup anytime soon except in NHL 13….maybe? You guys say Crosby sucks? and that Claudia is so much better? Well lets see here Giroux has ONLY had two good seasons that’s it and a fluke Ea Sports cover. Crosby may whine etc but atleast hes proven that hes the best in the league. Hes got individual trophies, a gold medal and of course the Stanley Cup<—-atleast the Pens can go to the finals and ACTUALLY win it all unlike the flyers and Devils who both lost in 6. Philly having the better hockey player than Pittsburgh has been tried once and failed miserably in the 90s thanks to Kasparaitis putting Lindros in his place back in 1998. The only time Lindros lead the league in scoring at seasons end was in 1995 but he lost to Jagr who had more goals. Just give up now in your argument Philly.

Much appreciated, you’re the classiest Pens fan on PHT, by far. If Timonen is out for extended time we’re screwed. We desperately need two points. Obviously the Sens and Avs have been hit the worst by injuries but the flyers are right up there. We could’ve used him in a 3rd period which started in a 3-3 tie. Starting with a 3-1 lead then to end up losing 4-3 (last goal was EN) along with losing our top dman are the ingredients for a terrible night. Help us hockey gods, please help us out of our funk.

Don’t disrespect the Zoltan. After the Steelers getting bounced in the first round by Jesus himself, and the Penguins getting embarassed by Philly, the Pirates starting the first half of the season 13 games over .500 is all you can really ask for out of the Buccos.

Before game 2 of the eastern conference semifinals the flyers pretty much owned the devils then Peter Debord much like any other decent coach just did what the Rangers and Bruins did and dumped the puck and hit their defensemen causing turnovers and ultimately goals …the flyers have yet to adjust and any team with big physical forwards like the ones the devils have are just going to keep doing it till the flyers show they can stop it on a steady basis its called coaching and Lavy has now shown after 6 consecutive games he has yet to solve this and with Chris Pronger pretty much retired and now loosing kimmo is only going to make matters worse….but there is hope in that alot of these young guys get more and more ice time might as well ride this season and these young guys out through their ups ad downs
