The Ducks, however, have been one of the more surprising teams so far this season and there are many interesting components, i.e. Winnik’s contribution, the growth of the younger forwards, etc. At times it seems most “national” coverage focuses on the negative, for example, where will Getzlaf and Perry be playing. Nice to see Fasth getting some love!

As for last night’s game — we don’t generally do a ton of game recaps on the site, but yes, that was an important affair between two of the best teams in the West and probably deserved a little more attention.
