Bouchard pulls in 5.4 mil a year, and his contract is up this year., I doubt if the Wild will resign him... You can still see the fear in his eyes at the game as I think he is still afraid of getting hit hard along the boards, in the game with Vancouver here, he pushed the players away from him so he would not get hit....
He has had so many health issues that with not many goals scored he will not be resigned and I am sure that is on his mind, as he has played here his whole career. He is just too small for the NHL now....
Plus during the lockout he was paid his full salary and I am not saying that he could have come back earlier, but who could prove that he still had the symptoms all year long and just when the lockout was over and done with he was able to play.... I dont think that sat well with the Wild big guys....he never lost a cent during the lockout...
He has a lot on his mind now, as to what is going to happen to is career when his contract is up???? Would anyone sign him with the concussion issues?????
and at 5.4 mil a year or close to it..

The same with Heatly, his contract is up next year and is pulling in 7.1 mil a year. and in my opinion, he really is not worth that kind of money. I was never excited about him in the first place, and now it seems that with Parise who does all the work, Heatly just stands around waiting for the puck to come to him to score, anyone can defend against that and they have... thats why you only see 2 goals or less per game, plus no penalty scoring.

Can anyone answer this question for me.. Why did the Wild pick Granland over Bjustad in the 2010 draft??? Yes, Grandland is good but Bjustad has the size at 6'6" 230 lbs and he could play in the NHL today... but now Fla drafted him... I want him in a Wild jersey..
Bjustad is such a great player.

Was that the same North Stars that were made up of 2 teams(Seals became the Barons then Baron and Stars merged) because they were so bad.Seats were vacant even with expensive give away prizes.
You say "We have a whole state that is born with skates on their feet."
Sure must hurt hurt to give birth in Minny.
I don't want to pick on your State as I am sure there are lots of fine people there that do love amateur hockey. That being said I do not think there is a long list of NHL superstars that were born there.
I will grant you one thing though, you have the best Walleye fishing(Pickerel or Dore)(name changes depending on where you fish) in all of USA.

Ooooo so u have a whole hockey town?We have a whole state that is born with skates on their feet. Our high school tournament draws more fans than Texas football. And North Stars were stolen from us by a greedy dip$hit named Norm Green(who still sucks).

How can you talk $hit when your team has only made the playoffs once(with no wins)in its history? No one wants to play for the BJ's. Columbus is another town that should have never gotten a team.
