That said, from what I have seen. the vast majority of the hockey world expected a Burrows suspension while few expected a Grabovski suspension. Perhaps it was the threshold had been set after Burrows combined with the lack of clear evidence.

loinstache , of course there are similarities but there are also differences. The similarities speak for themselves while the differences drive the debate. You yourself use the differences in the situation to highlight how ridiculous I am.

Finally, (maybe I should have started here) Millbury is as good a commentator as he was a GM. And about as even in his analysis. He is the US version of Grapes, used to provoke and outrage. If he was meant to be a serious analyst he would have been let go after referring to the Sedins as sisters.

I’m not defending Burrows (don’t bite damnit) but you people who fail to see the similarities and therefore hypocrisies of this situation… wow.

I’m not getting into another “discussion”with Bruins fans over this, but I will say one thing, Burrows puts his hand up to after the fingers in his face and that’s not even the point.

The point is about how Milbury and Jones are masquerading as pundits while basically hosting a fan site.

Grabovski, on the other hand, has his back to Pacioretty when he is grab across the mouth. He appears to lean forward to get away from Pacioretty. At any point Pacioretty could have broken contact with Grabovski. Did Grabovski bite him? It is not entirely clear but what is clear is Pacioretty placed his arm into Grabovski mouth.

If Burrows was not suspended I have no idea what the threshold is to get suspended for biting. Clearly Grabovski came no where close.

1 – Yes Burrows deliberately bites the finger, but the finger is literally being shoved up into his mouth.

2 – Regardless of the innate details, the hypocrisy of these two clowns saying that not only is the biter *not* to be blamed, but when they did the same thing and got bit they “felt shame” and therefore the bite-ee (real word look it up..*cough) is actually the one to blame, and then how quickly they jumped on Burrows is ridiculous … and not the least bit surprising.

3 – I’m not defending biting, I’m pointing how utterly inept Milbury and Co. are.

i understand that there is a bit of discrepancy between the “it is absolutely not allowed” and “i would have done the same thing” but if you listen to jones he suggests that you dont stick your hand in someone’s mouth without expecting to be bitten.
