Crosby already has 2 solid wingers in Kunitz and Dupuis who have plenty of ice time with him and have been very productive so far this year. As for Malkin, he has Boychuk and I will admit the jury is still out on him so far but I like what I have seen at this point. Who is on the right side of Malkin?? Hmmm…JAMES FREAKING NEAL!

This team needs defense if they want to win and trading their #2 defenseman and filling his spot with unproven minor league talent is not going to help them.

Yeah, you win. I forgot about the tie. I was just busting balls anyway. I don’t hate the Pens like most Flyer fans. I can’t stand Sid’s attitude, but I think the Pens are a great club and fun to watch when they’re not facing my squad. It’s a shame about Letang. Guy is a great, great player who just can’t seem to stay healthy. Not rubbing it in because it means absolutely nothing right now, but beating you guys in the playoffs last year would’ve meant basically nothing to me last year had you guys not been healthy, and I’d like to see both teams maintain good health going forward so we can continue to see good, competitive hockey between our clubs. Pennsylvania is a good state for sport.

Id like to see Letang back out there ASAP. but I don’t want him still injured coming back and spend more time out of the game. In a short season, every game is important, and we need wet, er, healthy players out there to win games. (Thank goodness I was informed that water was wet…who would have thunk it).

Just because you say something, doesnt make it true. Try actually looking back at all the Flyers posts and youll see theres not a single one without a Pittsburgh troll, namely sportsfreak13, hockeywithdrawl, and franchisethighs(whom we all know as the same guy with 10+ screenames who only posts things about Crosby’s “junk”. Conversely, just last week there was 2 back-to-back Pens posts with not a single troll comment.

Honestly, you ppl complaining about it need to get a backbone. Its two passionate fanbases that love to hate each other and we have alot of fun in the process. No one is on here wishing ill will on each other or saying offensive things. Its good natured ribbing and if you cant take it then you deserve every bit of criticism for your lack of manhood.

As for sjsharks66, we all know you. You troll Flyers posts worse than the Pens fans. My guess is your a bitter sharks fan upset that your team doesnt get 1/10th the coverage Pens and Flyers do. Im starting to think you may actually live in western PA and dont like the Pens for some odd reason.

No chance they trade Letang. Him and Orpik are the anchors on the Pens blueline. Although Martin seems to be stepping it up this year. I see him going way before Letang.
Like what I see from Boychuk. Seems to be driving the crease on the regular. Something I heard was his downfall in the past.

Youre right about that but given that this isnt a Penguins post that should garner much interest outside Pitt or Philly, theres a pretty good chance he is a Pens fan. Definitely not this year. But depending on want happens to the salary cap he could become a cap causality in the future. Hopefully not, but you never know. After next season his contract is up and he could get a huge raise. Malkin is also up at the same time. Letang has 3.5 million cap hit now and will probably be due a Karlsson type contract (6.5 million cap hit). None of the young guys are ready to player his minutes.
