He shouldn’t have bit his hand, but you can’t go throwing your hand in a guys face and expect nothing to happen. We can all agree that the next time the Leafs and Habs play, that is a must watch game.

I only saw the last 5 minutes and I have no idea what happened for this game to get so out of control. You could definitely see the bite marks on the Canadien player. I’m surprised no one is talking about what Colton Orr did, a Canadiens player knocked his stick out of his hands, 30 seconds later he took a massive blue line to blue line surge at the Canadiens player (not sure whether it was the one who knocked his stick away) the Habs player saw him at the last second and stepped out of the way of the lunging Orr (who left his feet) but if he hadn’t we would be talking about yet another head shot today. And leave it to Don Cherry afterwards to talk about how great it was and brag that the NHL can’t do anything to him cause he didn’t hit him.

What happened prior in the game to lead to these things? Cause I refuse to think a player would go that out of his way to charge at an opponent over having his stick knocked away.

I dont care for either team.

Im also not a biter, but if someone put their hand all over my face/mouth/nose in a scrum like that, i’d do what i had to do to get it off, including (and most likely) biting the hell outta his hand so he pulls it away.

I dont think he should receive punishment. You dont want your hand bit? Dont stick it in other peoples faces. People might say “oh, but ‘face washing’ is a part of the game.” Well it shouldnt be.
