We got out played out shot and out skated in the 2nd and 3rd. Series is tied at 1 we will see Boston again on Friday maybe lucic or chara will step up for a whoopin. Boston’s ownership is pathetic I will stand behind that all day the clown lives here in Buffalo and was a main factor in the lockout lasting as long as it did.

He gets that reputation because of the game he plays. Is he dirty? Occasionally he has crossed the line, the slew foot on Niskanen, the low-bridge Salo but these types of plays are not standard stock in his game. His game consists of lots of talk, extra time in the crease after the whistle, lots of face washes, pushes after the whistle but rarely enough to draw a penalty. He does just enough to aggravate the other team and infuriate the other fans. It is guys like Cooke that don’t belong in the game.

Oh, and he scores goals. Marchand had fewer PIMs last season than dirty players like Lapierre, Subban, Kaleta or Ott. But he has more goals than all of them. He is that player everyone wants on their team.
