After missing about a week with a shoulder injury, Boston Bruins agitator Brad Marchand will return to the lineup Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres, according to CSNNE.com’s Joe Haggerty.

The B’s lineup will be bolstered beyond that as Shawn Thornton and Daniel Paille are also getting back into action after suffering from injuries. (Thornton, 35, been dealing wit a concussion and Paille, 28, was sidelined with eye issues.)

Getting Marchand back is the most significant development, though. The 24-year-old forward has five goals and one assist in eight games this season, with a modest two penalty minutes.

One other interesting alteration is that Anton Khudobin is making his second start of 2013, spelling workhorse No. 1 guy Tuukka Rask.

Slew foots to rise this week. Lmao.

      Nope just Marchand goals..

  2. arbruins - Feb 10, 2013 at 8:07 PM

Hahaha, he made Scott look like a practice cone.

  3. flyeredup - Feb 10, 2013 at 9:15 PM

And Buffalo fighters continue to pound Bruins punch takers. Kaleta TKO Campbell. Lucic needs vagisil.

    • govtminion - Feb 10, 2013 at 10:13 PM

Which is fine by me. At the end of the day, it’s two points in the standings for the team winning, none for beating someone up.

  4. arbruins - Feb 10, 2013 at 9:20 PM

The only good thing about the Sabers is Miller…Kaleta is a joke… At this point in the game, Kaleta and Scott have a combined 15 minutes of play. Seems like a huge waste of money!

  5. arbruins - Feb 10, 2013 at 9:22 PM

And if I remember correctly, vagisil Lucic beat the piss out of midol Kaleta last year.

    The Return of Noseface!

    Go Bs!

  7. arbruins - Feb 10, 2013 at 9:36 PM

Hahaha…get Scott out there for he last face off Ruff.

  8. nunan - Feb 10, 2013 at 9:48 PM

Buffalo would be decent if they didn’t have a terrible defense. If they rely on Miller to make 40 stops every game, he’ll eventually get tired and they’ll start getting blown out every night. Spend all that money on some D. Between Miller and a solid defense, they would be pretty darn good, I would imagine.

Great game by Marchand. If not for Miller the B’s would have abused Buffalo tonight with about 7 goals.

Prob the only athlete in the game I hate. He had more ducks than Anaheim last year : ) . I just can’t stand him for how much he dives and how dirty he is.

The game is better without antics like his

    • nosefacekillah - Feb 11, 2013 at 7:40 AM

The truth is Marchand has rarely dived in his career. He gets that reputation because of the game he plays. Is he dirty? Occasionally he has crossed the line, the slew foot on Niskanen, the low-bridge Salo but these types of plays are not standard stock in his game. His game consists of lots of talk, extra time in the crease after the whistle, lots of face washes, pushes after the whistle but rarely enough to draw a penalty. He does just enough to aggravate the other team and infuriate the other fans. It is guys like Cooke that don’t belong in the game.

Oh, and he scores goals. Marchand had fewer PIMs last season than dirty players like Lapierre, Subban, Kaleta or Ott. But he has more goals than all of them. He is that player everyone wants on their team.

okay I think I am only able to post one video per a comment because I wrote a huge post to show you all his ducks/clips I could find within using youtube for 1 minute.

Number 3… just saying if I was an enforcer in the league and I saw this happen to a team mate I would bash Marchands head in with a stick (since he is actually a tough guy and I admit he would most likely beat my butt in a fair fight)

video 4… this is the only one he was suspended for

I love how Scott is a joke after knocking Thornton out. Kaleta beats the hell out of Campbell last night and now kaleta is a “joke”. The Bruins ownership and fans are the true jokes here.

    • rdurk86 - Feb 11, 2013 at 9:56 AM

LOL, Buffalo fans are ones to talk about other teams’ ownership being a joke….

    • bigt12789 - Feb 11, 2013 at 11:20 AM

Sorry buffalojoe but it sure seemed the fans at the arena thought your TEAM was the only joke last night. Those boo birds were getting a little loud at the end of the 3rd period.

      • drewzducks - Feb 11, 2013 at 12:00 PM

        Don’t forget…they do have the Bills…hahaha…what a doormat.

    • hockeyflow33 - Feb 11, 2013 at 1:40 PM

Everyone in Boston agrees with your assessment that Jeremy and Charlie Jacobs are jokes.

I love how Buffalo fans are grasping after losing a game, by being concerned with who won a fight…

The boo’s were directed at our defense which myself and anyone who watches hockey will agree is pathetic not the team. We got out played out shot and out skated in the 2nd and 3rd. Series is tied at 1 we will see Boston again on Friday maybe lucic or chara will step up for a whoopin. Boston’s ownership is pathetic I will stand behind that all day the clown lives here in Buffalo and was a main factor in the lockout lasting as long as it did.
