League must 1. Prohibit and enforce no hands in opponents faces, period 2. admit that biting is not always defensive as implied by both commentators on NBC today… then again they’re both from an era where helmets were just being made mandatory, not long after goalies were suckified for wearing masks…

@buffalo… Yup, 2 nothing teams. Both doing better than the sabres, both teams with a lot more cups than them as well. A original 6 teams who are the most historic franchises in the sport. One of those two teams home town is the place where hockey was created. The first game ever with 9 players on the ice per team at a time and a square puck, but yeah they are two nothing teams….. Am I the only one that does not see a bite? Pacioretty appears to grab his face and Grabovski reacts. This appears to be more wishful thinking by Montreal.

3 straight loses to NE opponents and the Canadians magical ride to the Cup suddenly hits a wall. The Gallies have one point between them in 4 games and are in the minus, time to look elsewhere for the answers.

In such a short season these rough patches are scarey. As bad as Buffalo started they are only 2 points behind the Canadians. If the Sabres played a little defense the bleu blanc et rouge would be sitting on the bottom of the NE.
