I agree with nach0. I am not an Oilers fan but there's a lot to be excited about with this squad.

As I've said on here previously, my only regret is not being able to catch a lot of Edmonton games as they usually come on too late for me (I'm East Coast).

My goodness, this team is so likeable. I love the youth and talent, in all honesty with a good power forward or 2 they and a good goalie they could be cup ready!

Oilers forwards under 23 years old:

Hall - 21
Eberle - 22
RNH - 19
Yakupov - 19
Gagner - 23
Paajarvi - 21
Lander - 21
Hartikainen - 22

And they have guys like Tobias Rieder, Tyler Pitlick, and Curtis Hamilton who will be pushing for spots in years to come.

Obviously the quartet of Hall, Eberle, RNH, and Yakupov isn't going anywhere, but they need to deal some of their young assets (Paajarvi being the most obvious) and balance out their lineup both positionally and in terms of maturity if they intend to start winning playoff games instead of draft lotteries.

Good day Oilers fan. I'm here on behalf of the New York Rangers. We see you need some help at center. It just so happens that we have a hulking center that has been made redundant with the emergence of J.T. Miller. Lets make a deal. Brian Boyle for Ryan Jones. If that doesn't work we will throw in Derek Stepan and a 3rd for Ryan Jones and Sam Gagner. You have one hour. I will patiently await your response.
