The Blues win when they limit the other team to 15 shots, most of which are far out and to the sides making for easy saves.

It’s not easy limiting teams to 14-16 shots a night.

The Blues are losing because Elliott is returning to his old form and Halak is out. Seriously, I think the team itself plays well…maybe getting in too deep and getting punished for it. But I think Elliott is having a hard time playing the same caliber he was last year.

Ken Hitchcock has a reputation of being one of those coaches that is fantastic when you first hire him cause he will light a fire under the players asses, but that style only lasts soo long.. Eventually all the yelling will fall on deaf ears.

whats amazing to me is a rookie goalie getting a win for Detroit in his 1st start and not 1 article is written about that, not even a siting of it. Instead watch Crosby bat something out of mid air, a reporter gets hit with a puck. Yup good stuff guys.

In the headline and the story: agenda’s. Writers should know what the apostrophe is for. Generally it’s for contractions such as it’s for it is, and to show possession, such as Ken’s team lost. But it is not for plurals.

So I guess it’s back to Hitch’s old boring hockey again. Isnt it ironic that the teams that played that style (blues, yotes, rangers, and to an extent preds and kings) have really fallen flat on their face after going deep in the playoffs.
