I’ve never given it much thought to be honest….at least with regards to the shirts.

The Giroux jersey is always worn nowadays to any Wells Fargo Center or away games. I’ve retired the LeClair one to wearing around the house or on local trips around DE and PA.

The shirts I just tend to grab one out of the drawer and wear whichever one comes out first.

The Richards one probably gets worn the least as it shrunk a bit and is a little tight on me.

I wear the Simmonds one a lot as I really like him and his style of play… and the Mez one gets a lot of wear as he’s my favorite Dman on the team.

I hope people know that the Flyers are the most popular hockey team in the world. While in the Navy I got to visit a lot of different countries. The countries that love hockey had local team jerseys in their shops and the only NHL jersey that was usually in the shop was Philadelphia Flyers jerseys. Like I’ve said before it’s the only reason why the NHL allows the Flyers to exist, they bring in a lot of money. Other than that the NHL doesn’t give the Flyers an inch. Most penalized team in the league since 1975 and we’ve been top 1-3 in penalty minutes. The Flyers are the most penalized pro sports team in history and that doesn’t look to change this year either lol. Even when the Flyers changed their image to a more finesse team in 2006-07 when they finished last they were still top 3 in penalty minutes. Yes I know they are usually top 5 in Power Play minutes too, but thats only because refs don’t want to make the games look like they’re calling it 1 way. Look it up people the NHL hates the Flyers lol.

Take it from some one who was there, rangers fan continued to chirp every flyers fan by calling them pu$&ies and scumbags etc. he then made first contact and retaliation ensued. Granted there was a third man in on the second rangers fan which I don’t condone; but it was far from jumping someone. Like they say “don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house” or have a glass jaw for that matter.

If you actually watched the Flyers play you would see that Giroux has been playing awesome. Both his linemates are injured and he is still playing great two way hockey. The points aren’t there right now, but his play is still stellar. He does it all.

Apparently America loves spending money on unnecessary crap. This is yet another example. What happened to everyone who swore to never give another dime to the perpetrators of the lockout?

If you want a jersey you should try eBay. You can get them for about half the price and better selection from any era (including the old CCM ones that are way nicer than this RBK stuff). Also, with most of them, the money went to the greedy bastards long ago.

The only flyer in Claude’s area code in terms of Jersey sales is Scottie Hartnell cause he’s all over the city and area doing stuff he’s even dating a Philly weather forecaster….Briere has his following and so does Kimmo…..Bryz is a wait and see cause no one knows if he’s even ping to be there next year….but another thing that could driving Claude’s Jersey sales is all the new ones have his Captain’s C so everybody who has one has to buy the updated one

You see a ton of Giroux jerseys, ESP from the women because they find him “hot” . He is by far the most popular jersey. I had three Richards jerseys before he was shipped out, then I got my Winter classic Giroux jersey that I rock everywhere because I love how they did the classic jerseys

Gotta love those Pittsburgh Trolls. We all know that if Sid or Gino were at the top of the list it would be a different story. As far as our sweater being ” ugly”, it shows our pride in our history as a franchise. Unlike many other teams we haven’t had to change our look to regain fan interest.

I would be interested from Flyers fans what THEY see in terms of proportions of Giroux jerseys to other Flyer jerseys around. My guess is that one thing that helps in this regard is that he is unequivocally the Flyers star guy (and therefore has the most desirable jersey) – I can’t imagine more than a smattering of Hartnell’s, Briere’s, maybe a few Pronger’s, Bryz’s and Jagr’s (for the early adopters)… but again its easy for me to say that because I’m not there.

Biggest surprise – Jonathan Quick being that low. You figure with people getting swept up in the cup run that a bunch of peoople would dive headfirst into Kings fanhood with a fresh Quick sweater.
