the real issue with the elbow is that, if i recall, 2 officials watched it happen and didn’t call anything. also, regarding franchisethigh’s not so bright comment comparing erskine elbow to crombeen’s wrist slash…they are different. erskine wasn’t dirty, crombeen was. erskine hit simmonds who defends himself very well. cromwell hit giroux, flyers captain. and perhaps flyers have full intent to respond to erskine at later date.

It just shows what a classy guy Wayne Simmonds is. Simmer gets it and realizes that players get caught up in the heat of the moment. Erskine on the other hand is a Dbag.
