I don’t think they’d necessarily want him to walk but I’m not sure he’s worth the $4mil+/yr he’s getting now.

Why would Antropov walk? Wouldn’t the Jets be foolish not to re-sign him? He is a big net mouth presence and can score goals. LOL my brother always kills me at NHL when he plays as the Jets. He once scored 7 goals in one game as Nik Antropov and I was the Rangers!

Yeah, I’d imagine they’ll either let Antro and Hainsey walk or make em take a paycut. Postma and Redmond seem to be holding their own thus far and I’d like to think they’ll make an offer for both of them. Wheeler and Little will want a raise. They might have to do some shuffling (Scheifeling?) to fit him in but if he doesn’t make the team next year, I wonder what sort of future he’ll even have with the Jets.

This is not a shocker in Winnipeg, we here have been waiting for the team to send him down.. He has no area where he fits in on the roster, no use keeping him on the 3rd and 4th lines.. He will make the club next year, when they get rid of a few guys that they have been waiting for there contracts to expire.
