The NHL has fined Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky $10,000 forĀ boarding Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi during the second period of Tuesday’s game in Columbus.
The fine is the maximum allowed under the new CBA. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
Dubinsky was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for the hit.
The Kings won the game, 4-2.
