Dubinsky on Scuderi

The NHL has fined Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky $10,000 forĀ boarding Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi during the second period of Tuesday’s game in Columbus.

The fine is the maximum allowed under the new CBA. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Dubinsky was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for the hit.

The Kings won the game, 4-2.

Scuderi seems to have a bit of a track record for turning around just before a hit. How about try and protect yourself A-HOLE!!!! Stop trying to draw majors. Douche!!

Dubinsky is a clean player. Scuderi always seems to be the guy who’s hit unfair by clean players. I can see if it were a Zac Rinaldo type player. But it never is.

Dubinsky kind of tries to get around in front of him to make the hit, but he sees his back the whole way in. It’s not a good hit. What I don’t get is the Stoll hit on Fowler didn’t get anything but was the same thing, hitting a player from behind after following him the whole way.

Hey Jersey fan, bitter much? Get over it, that was 8 months ago now.

True. The Stoll on Fowler hit, regardless of the fact that the referee was taken down on the play and no calls were made should be reviewed. Clearly, on replay, Stoll held Fowler’s jersey and had his elbow at the back of Cam’s head and continued with the momentum going forward with Fowler hitting the red-end of the boards which has an edge that is dangerous. and worse, Fowler is was injured and out.

    scooby , scooby doo.

A reasonable punishment. As bad as the hit might have looked, it really wasn’t suspension worthy for reasons I pointed out last night.

I could see if it was Malkin Neal or Cindy head hunting. But then again Pitts dirty play just gets brushed to the side. Well except when Lemieux comes out and admits embaresment towards his own clubs dirty play.

Why does everything become a Pittsburgh bash session with you Bully. You come off emotionally unstable and extremely bitter. Don’t cast stones if you live in a glass house.

I agree Sid and Malkin are both dirty little douchebags
