Ehrhoff out tonight with “undisclosed muscle injury”

Christian Ehrhoff

The Buffalo Sabres will be without one of their top defensemen tonight in Ottawa.

Per Sportsnet’s Ian Mendes, Christian Ehrhoff is out with an “undisclosed muscle injury” that was suffered Sunday against Florida.

Ehrhoff, 30, is Buffalo’s leader in average ice time, logging 23:54 per game.

The severity of his injury wasn’t disclosed, but the fact he skated this morning (even if it was just briefly) suggests it’s minor.

Jhonas Enroth will start in goal for the Sabres.
