If I was the players and wanted the best deal I’d want him too. Amazing so many people in here blaming him just because they wanted hockey. He didn’t go in wanting the lockout. Heck the owners were the ones that were planning on that all along as a way to squeeze the players. I wanted hockey too but Fehr’s job was to the players not to anyone else. The owners/NHL were just as much responsible for this lockout as Fehr. Same can be said if he goes to the NBAPA and there is a lockout. If the owners wanted to negotiate a reasonable deal Fehr wouldn’t have had to play all those games.

The fans are the ones who get screwed the most by this guy. Check his history the NBA will lose at minimum 1/2 of a season if not much more! 👎 To Fehr! He belongs in the 🚽.

Fehr has built strong unions and that was something the nhlpa needed and they got it now.

Because of Fehr the 1994 World Series was cancelled for the 1st in almost 100 years. Which almost killed baseball. Cue steroids McGuire/Sosa HR battle to bring it back. He also prevented a salary cap that the owners want and could have leveled the playing field for all teams in MLB. Instead MLB is the only major sport with out a salary cap and that is in large part to this greedy price of crap that you are so in love with. Teams like the Yankees and Red Sox and now the LA Teams use small market teams as farm system teams. Teams like KC, Pit, and Seattle can’t afford there own players and are force to trade them away to teams like the Yankees who have an unlimited payroll. Which could eventually lead to team contractions. THAT is how Fehr ruined MLB. MLB players union is the strongest union in the world and that is NOT a good thing.
